Risky Business: Sharks in the Water

No matter how I look at this game, all I can think about is how this is one the Oilers absolutely have to win. Not only are the points incredibly important right now, but the San Jose Sharks are absolutely terrible and anything less than two points would be a complete disaster. That said, I also know Jack Campbell is starting, and given the way he’s struggling right now, by no means is there anything guaranteed. That’s why my betting strategy for tonight’s game against San Jose will revolve around a lot of goals being scored. Even though I’m imagining that the Oilers are able to get the job done, I can also see this game hitting the over before the second period is even over, ya know?

Oilers to win on the money line and Leon Draisaitl to register 2+ points at +120. My $5 bet would return $11.00.

Over 7.5 total goals at +137. My $5 bet would return $11.87.

Connor McDavid to score 2 or more goals at +400. My $5 bet would return $25.00.

Edmonton over San Jose on the money line, Colorado over Chicago on the money line, and Florida over Detroit on the money line at 2.46. My $5 bet would return $12.31.

Not only did we have a great time at the Pint Downtown for our 15th anniversary party, but the Oilers were also able to come up with a huge win that they maybe didn’t deserve. Shout out to the Kraken for having awful goaltending, ya know?
