Another Thursday has landed on our calendars and the boys are back with a fresh Real Life Podcast to help you get through the rest of the week. Today, the boys talked about the latest Evander Kane drama, a random chat about Chicago Mix, speeding tickets, and welcomed Nic Sulsky from PointsBet Canada to talk about a brand new partnership.
To kick off the Thursday episode of Real Life, the podcast got started with a story from Tyler about wiping out in front of his apartment building after Edmonton’s weather shot the moon by 30+ degrees over the last few days, creating an icy situation that everyone is having to deal with after an insane deep freeze over the last couple of weeks. That led to a lengthy conversation about speeding tickets and how everyone on the podcast seems to collect these things at a very high level. Now, some may say that speeding is irresponsible — we would agree — but for some of the boys, picking up the tickets seems like a way to give back to the city they love. All jokes, of course. With the ticket talk out of the way, the guys got fired up about the cheddar vs caramel popcorn distribution in a bag of Chicago Mix. While you’d imagine a 50-50 split, the guys weren’t so sure that this is how things actually work in practice. Getting to the Oilers, the guys talked about the latest drama surrounding the seemingly neverending Evander Kane drama and how it’s creating all kinds of distractions around the hockey team. Lastly, the guys wrapped up this episode of Real Life by welcoming Nic Sulsky from PointsBet Canada to talk about their new partnership with the NHL Alumni Association and how it will provide Nation citizens with new and different avenues to create content. Needless to say, everyone was very excited to hear Nic’s vision for this new project and we know that you will be too once you hear it.
