WATCH: Edmonton Oilers defenceman Slater Koekkoek injured against Jets

1 year agoEdmonton Oilers defenceman Slater Koekkoek left the game against the Winnipeg Jets Thursday night with a lower-body injury.
Koekkoek appeared to be injured five minutes into the game on the hit seen below, but returned to play four more shifts. His final shift was taken with six minutes left in the second period, and the club announced he wouldn’t return for the third frame.
