WATCH: Edmonton Oilers forward Dylan Holloway gets in first NHL fight

And with the Edmonton Oilers up 4-1 early in the second period, tensions boiled over.
Oilers forward Dylan Holloway ate a couple of uncalled cross-checks in the back from Kraken defenceman Vince Dunn, and the young forward dropped the mitts. The two tango’d for a minute before Dunn caught Holloway with a chopping right hand that pushed him down to the ice.

Holloway’s had an up-and-down rookie season with the Oilers but has appeared in 32 games so far this year scoring one goal and four points averaging 8:44 in TOI per game. His lone goal came on Nov. 26th against the New York Rangers. He’s begun to find some more time on ice as of last with his average TOI rising by a minute over his last 10 games.
His underlying numbers have been around average this season. With him on the ice at 5×5, the Oilers have controlled 51.23 percent of the shot attempts, 40 percent of the goals scored and 49 percent of the expected goal share. He’s been a physical presence, however, laying 11.54 5×5 hits per hour.
