Jordan Oesterle and the Oklahoma City Barons are underway in the playoffs and so far things are going well. In our weekly look at Oilers prospects (playoffs edition) some prospects are peaking at a very good time.

CHL

  1. C Connor McDavid, Erie Otters 12GP, 18-14-32
  2. C Leon Draisaitl, Kelowna Rockets 11GP, 4-12-16
  3. C Greg Chase, Victoria Royals 10GP, 7-4-11
  4. C Marco Roy, Quebec Remparts 12GP, 3-8-11
  5. D Darnell Nurse, SSM Greyhounds 11GP, 2-4-6
  6. D Ben Betker, Everett Silvertips 9GP, 1-2-3
  7. G Keven Bouchard, Val d’Or Foreurs 3GP, 4.65 .877
McDavid is playing Nurse tonight, I’ll update the numbers as they roll in (he has a goal so far, just an incredible Forsberg on the poor SSM G). Draisaitl is having a good playoff for the Rockets and Roy is posting very good numbers for the Remparts.

USHL

  1. LD William Lagesson Dubque Fighting Saints 5GP, 1-1-2
The Flaming interview with Zack Fisch (PBP man with the Saints) is quite revealing. The young defender has been effective all year in his own end and is adding some offense of late.
