The Edmonton Oilers will wrap up their portion of the Young Stars tournament Monday afternoon against the Vancouver Canucks.
The Oilers rookies have had a good show through their two games thus far. Friday night they took down the Winnipeg Jets 3-1, but on Saturday night fell 4-3 to the Calgary Flames.
Game one of the tournament saw Beau Akey score his first goal in an Oilers uniform creeping down from the point to unleash a great shot, while Matvei Petrov was the star of game two. He had a 1-1—2 performance and a great showing.
Game three is set for 2:30 p.m. MST and can be watched on Oilers+ or on the Canucks YouTube channel.

The Oilers lines have largely stayed the same throughout the tournament. I’m looking for a big finale from Xavier Bourgault, who has had a rather unassuming tournament up to this point.
