Baggedmilk on #theLOCKERROOM: Coaching, playoffs, and the Edmonton Oilers

Hello, hello, friends, welcome to another edition of Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio as I jumped on the 95.7 Cruz FM airwaves to talk with the boys on The Locker Room about all things @Edmonton Oilers.
To start off this week’s appearance, we jumped right into things with a look at the cultural shift that’s happening in hockey right now and whether these coaching stories that are coming out are a generational thing or just coaches being jerks. Personally, I CAN’T IMAGINE why players would want to be treated with respect and not be punched, kicked, abused, and belittled but what are you gonna do? Millennials, right? (/extreme sarcasm font) From there, we got into some Oilers talk and how not many folks could have ever imagined that the team would be heading into the American Thanksgiving weekend in first place in the Pacific Division. That conversation made Lochlin wonder whether or not the boys have the juice to hold on as the season progresses, and since I’m in peak Kool-Aid mode, I offered a few thoughts on why the Oilers can make this last.
