Another Wednesday in lockdown is upon us, and that means another opportunity for me to jump on with the boys at The Locker Room to talk about what’s going on in the NHL and life, while also trying to have a few laughs during these strange days.
To kick off this week’s appearance, we looked at yesterday’s comments from Gary Bettman and how he said nothing is off the table when it comes to getting games going again. Whether that’s neutral site games, one location like the NBA is suggesting, or a Biodome situation like the MLB, there’s no doubt that all major sports leagues are trying to figure out how to make this work. Is it possible? That’s a question for another day, but from where I blog, I’m just happy to keep hope alive for the time being even though I know every scenario is unlikely, to say the least. From there, we touched on the very scary situation that’s happening with @Colby Cave where the young Oiler had to be placed in a medically induced coma to combat a brain bleed. Unfortunately, there have been no further updates on his condition but I think I can speak for everybody when I say that we’re all thinking about him and hoping for a speedy recovery.
