Is there anything better than checking the website on a Wednesday morning and seeing another one of my radio appearances on The Locker Room that’s ready for you to soak into your earholes? No, there’s not.
To start this off week’s segment, we jumped in with a look at the ESPN player poll that was released yesterday and why Winnipeg was named as the least desirable destination in the league to play. Seeing as they don’t have an airport, I completely understand. Next up, we broke down Dave Tippett’s new line combinations, including @Sam Gagner being placed on the first line with @Connor McDavid and @Leon Draisaitl as the coach continues to switch things up in the pursuit of more offence. Seeing as there are a few players that need to get going, we’ll have to wait and see whether or not these new trios will result in more goals being put up or if he’ll have to go back to the drawing board. Lastly, we touched on the article that came out yesterday which claims that the NHL has a developing drug problem or if this kind of behaviour is almost expected from 20-something-year-old millionaires.
