Good morning, dearest Internet friends, and welcome to another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in local Edmonton radio. As I do every Wednesday, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a few minutes to talk about COVID’s effects on the schedule, the NHL Trade Deadline, and anything else that’s going on in the world of the Edmonton Oilers.
Kicking off this week’s segment, we jumped in with a look at the NHL schedule, specifically the game against the Vancouver Canucks that’s supposed to happen on Friday night. As of this morning, that game is looking like it will go forward but as we know, things can change quickly in this weird COVID environment we’re all living through. Next up, we looked at what was a quiet trade deadline for Ken Holland and whether or not I was expecting him to get more done than picking up Dmitry Kulikov for a conditional pick. Personally, I didn’t think Holland was going to do a whole lot even though I was obviously hoping for something more.
