Baggedmilk on #theLOCKERROOM: Peter Chiarelli, music, and Milan Lucic did a thing

For the first time since the Christmas break, I jumped on the 95.7 Cruz FM airwaves to try and make sense of what the hell is going on with the Edmonton Oilers. This week, we touched on why Peter Chiarelli is still employed despite the moves he’s made, what’s next for this team, and a breakdown of Milan Lucic finally ending his scoring slump.
Considering I haven’t been on the air with the boys at The Locker Room for a few weeks now, there was plenty to talk about this morning. Easing our way into it, the boys asked me for my take on the best song to put the hammer down to in your car and I blew their minds with my music wizardry. Next up, we got down to business as I was asked how Peter Chiarelli still maintains a job with the organization in spite of his continued failures to make things any better. Next up, we looked at what’s next for the team and whether or not they still have a chance to sneak into the playoffs in spite of this recent run of horrible hockey. Lastly, we looked at Milan Lucic finally breaking the slump after scoring only a single goal in the first 42 games of the season. Needless to say, there was a lot going on in this tasty little radio nugget.
