<p>Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.</p>
<p>To kick off this week’s segment, we jumped in with a look ahead at Game 1 of the <a href="https://publish.oilersnation.com/2022/05/17/an-analytical-over-of-the-edmonton-oilers-calgary-flames-series/">Battle of Alberta</a> and how this series has the potential to be a great one provided that the Oilers can maintain the level of play they say in games <a href="https://publish.oilersnation.com/2022/05/12/gdb-6-0-wrap-up-edmonton-oilers-force-game-seven-with-4-2-win-over-la-kings/">six</a> and <a href="https://publish.oilersnation.com/2022/05/15/the-day-after-edmonton-oilers-close-out-the-series-with-massive-2-0-win-over-the-los-angeles-kings/">seven</a> from their series against LA. I don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s any question that the Oilers will need to bring their best against a Flames team that has been very good all season long, and a big part of that will be staying disciplined even when it seems next to impossible. If the Oilers can do that, their power play could go a long way to giving them an edge in this series. I also talked about needing to get traffic in front of Markstrom and making his life as difficult as possible. Simply put, Calgary&#8217;s goaltender is too good to expect everything to be a pretty goal and the Oilers will need to get greasy in the crease if they&#8217;re planning on getting much past him.</p>
