Another Wednesday is here and that means a fresh episode of Better Lait Than Never is set and ready to infiltrate your earholes. This week, we’re talkin’ #NationVacation, Sam Gagner, your voicemails, and a whole lot more.

To kick off this week’s podcast, I got started with a recap of our trip to Toronto and thanked everyone that joined for making this first summer edition of the #NationVacation so much fun. Getting back to the Oilers, I looked at the Sam Gagner rumours that have taken over these parts over the last few days and whether it even makes sense to bring the 33-year-old forward back for a third tour of duty. Not to mention, Ryan McLeod still needs a new contract and that doesn’t even touch the fact that the Oilers have no cap space to get it done. We still don’t know who’s going to get traded to make the money work, and with only a couple of months left until the season starts, we’re looking at the back nine of this offseason with plenty left to do on Ken Holland’s to-do list. Lastly, I wrapped up the episode with another round of voicemails to get your take on what’s been going on over the last week in your life.
