Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Our first bet of the day is on Carter Verhaeghe to take over 3.5 shots on goal, with odds at +105.
Our second bet of the day is on Matthew Tkachuk to take over 3.5 shots on goal, with odds at +105.
We’re loading up the props on the Panthers’ second line after a dominant performance in Game 1. Verhaeghe had five shots on goal, while Tkachuk just had one, but both players had a goal and an assist in the game. They look to be in a great spot this series, and we’re going to look for another strong performance from them.
Despite Tkachuk having just one shot on goal, since he joined the Panthers, he’s cashed this prop in three of six games against the Rangers. Let’s see if he can do it again tonight.
Our third bet of the day is on the Florida Panthers and over 5.5 goal, with odds at +265. This bet will be for half a unit.
We cashed the Oilers and under 6.5 last night, so let’s see if we can go two straight with another little sprinkle. The Panthers aren’t a team who has many, if any off nights, so I can see them pushing back with another big performance tonight. The Rangers, meanwhile, are no slouches themselves, and after getting shutout in Game 1, I can see them pushing back offensively and getting a few past Sergei Bobrovsky.
Record: 137-176 (-24.18u)
2022-23 season: 155-149 (+16.82u)
