With Philip Broberg signing a three-year entry-level contract with the Oilers this morning, we wanted to head back to the NHL Draft for another look at what the team’s scouts saw in him.
Considering the outcry that came as a result of @Philip Broberg’s selection, we wanted to re-visit the post draft interview Bob Green gave to reporters regarding what they saw in the 6’3″ defender from Orebro, Sweden. As we saw in the video above, Broberg’s skating was a large factor in selecting him with the 8th overall pick, and, according to Green, the sky is the limit for the player.
