We now go live to Nation Dan at the Oilersnation news desk for some breaking news. Dan, what do you have for us?
Thanks, Dan, it seems that once again, Connor McDavid is the best player in the league and the NHL has recognized him as such. His appointment as star number one in the newly announced three stars of the month of March reflects that as such.
One day after his Edmonton Oilers were eliminated from contention in the playoffs, and his heartbreaking comments to that effect were covered by our very own Baggedmilk, Connor McDavid was handed yet another feather in the cap with top billing as the league’s first star for the month of March 2019.
His month included a “simple” 20 points in 14 games and seven goals to go along with that. Including likely what will go down as his best goal this season (as debated on the ONRadioPodcast this week)
The future is bright for this young man, and from where I blog I think we should all take note and expect some big things going forward for the one named Connor McDavid.
