DFO Rundown: Will Edmonton Oilers Connor McDavid score 100 points this season?

If you haven’t heard yet, the Nation Network has an amazing new podcast with our own Jason Gregor and TSN’s Frank Seravalli.
Their inaugural show debuted Monday, and they had an interesting chat about Connor McDavid and what he could accomplish this year.
The discussion circled around the incredible offensive season McDavid has had to start the season scoring 26 points in 13 games heading into Monday night — a perfect two-point per game pace.
For McDavid to hit even 100 points, the explosive forward would need to score at a 1.79 point per game pace, not totally unreasonable given what he’s done to start the year.
Seravalli doesn’t think he’ll score at a two point per game pace, but does see McDavid hitting 100 points by the end of the season.
