On Tuesday afternoon, the great minds that bring you the daily fun that is Oilersnation got together and came up with a new way for fans to interact and watch us play, terribly. On that afternoon the Oilers took the game in a shootout on a bit of heroics from the one and only Nuge. Then the actual game turned out to be a bit of the blow out for the Oil.
Today’s matchup saw the Senators and Oilers clash.
Quick quiz, without peeking, can you name 10 CURRENT Senators?
On the Oilers: @cooom and @theNationChris
On the Sens: @TheNationDan and our very special guest, GM of Oilersnation — Graham Aberg
We set the lineups as they are tonight (with Klefbom playing as Ethan Bear and the Sens 4th line centre is not in the game).
From the get-go the chemistry between Oilers teammates was ugly. The penalties by the end of this were at a 3:1 ratio. Dan and Graham ran their show up and down the ice. The only time the Oilers showed any glimmer of skill or hope was when “Atta be Darryl” took out Bobby Ryan in a tilt when the game was out of hand. Heck of a game by my teammate Graham Aberg with a hand in each and every one of the Sens goals.
This is a new feature so we continue to work on smoothing things out, and always welcome feedback. Hopefully, this was not a preview of the game to come tonight.
