Edmonton Oilers D Matt Benning returns against Calgary Flames

The @Edmonton Oilers have announced D @Matt Benning has been activated from the Long Term Injured Reserve and will be in the lineup Wednesday against the @Calgary Flames.
Benning, 25, has missed a big chunk of the Oilers season due to two concussions. The first happening in November and Benning returned for a Dec. 11 game only to be concussed again.
The rearguard played three games for the Bakersfield Condors on a brief conditioning stint last week notching one assist. Benning will likely slot in on the third pairing tonight.
