There’s few players Edmonton Oilers fans have been cheering for more this season than Jesse Puljujarvi.
After a rough ride in his first three seasons, he left for Finland to hone his craft and has come back a different player. And tonight, he finally got his first goal of the season.

Puljujarvi took a neutral zone pass from Connor McDavid and made a move to the outside. He undressed Brayden Coburn taking a shot that was saved, before corraling his own rebound and sliding it past a sprawling Marus Hogberg. It was a thing of beauty, and one of many more to come.
