For what seems like the zillionth week in a row, Edmonton Oilers F Leon Draisaitl has been named one of the NHL’s stars of the week.
This week, his eight points, four-game outing landed him a third star.
Draisaitl posted his first four-goal performance of his career in an 8-3 win over the Nashville March 2 in a game that saw him add an assist for a five-point night. He notched one assist in a 2-1 OT win over Dallas March 3 and later notched two assists in a 4-3 loss to Chicago on March 5.
He continues a run of dominance on the NHL now totaling 110 points in 69 games this season. His 43 goals sit fourth in the NHL behind @Autson Matthews, @Alex Ovechkin and @David Pastrnak, respectively.
His 67 assists pace the league and is five up on his closest counterpart, teammate @Connor McDavid. Third in assists is @Artemi Panarin, who has notched 61 on the year.
