Edmonton Oilers loan Adam Cracknell to Denmark’s Metal Ligaen

Edmonton Oilers forward Adam Cracknell has been loaned to the Esbjerg Energy of Denmark’s Metal Ligaen to kick off the 2020-21 season.
Cracknell, 35, was signed by the Oilers to a one-year, two-way contract on Sept. 10. He played last year with the Kunlun Red Star of the KHL scoring 10 goals and 24 points in 52 games.
He’s played in 210 NHL games over nine seasons with St. Louis, Columbus, Vancouver, Edmonton, Dallas, Anaheim and the Rangers.
Patrick Russell was loaned to a Seier Capital of the Metal Ligaen league last month.
