Inside the Nation: First impressions of Ken Holland, coaching options, and Craig MacTavish

May 9, 2019, 17:54 EDTUpdated: May 9, 2019, 17:55 EDT
We’re back with another episode of Inside the Nation with Dustin Nielson!
Ken Holland was officially hired this last week, so Dustin starts the live video with his first impressions of Holland, and how he sees Holland panning out in the Edmonton market. Dusty also gives his timeline on how soon we could see Holland hire a head coach for the Oilers. Holland is having scouting meetings over the next couple weeks so you’d hope he has a coach in place by the end of that time. Nielson speculates on some coaching options that the Oilers have, and some of them include Tippett, Gulutzan, Woodcroft, and more.
As always, Nielson gives his take on the ongoing Stanley Cup Playoffs and gives his pick on who we’ll see advance to the Cup Finals. Watch the video below to hear all of Dusty’s hot takes today!
Check out the live edition of Inside the Nation on the Oilersnation Facebook page every Monday and Thursday at 3:00 pm MT.
