Who says there won’t be any Oilers goal highlights to post just because our boys didn’t make the playoffs? Who says we can’t still admire the magic of Leon Draisaitl in late April? WHO SAYS!? Fortunately, Draisaitl is playing for Germany right now as he gets set for the World Championships and our man went out and scored a pair of beautiful goals against Austria in yesterday’s international friendly.
In a game complete with a hat trick, Leon Draisaitl put his skills on full display with a pair of goals that are definitely worth another look.
Check it out:
Think I’m done with only one beautiful Draisaitl goal? No. No, I’m not because Leon is a magic man with magic hands that just won’t quit filling the back of the net.
Isn’t it weird how Leon can keep scoring without Connor McDavid, huh? Laziest out-of-the-air/one-handed goals that I’ve ever seen. In another life, you’d have to think that Leon would be some kind of surgeon or rocket scientist or something with silky hands like his. Gord knows there’s magic in those mitts.
