The fans have voted, and Connor McDavid has been named the Pacific Division captain for this year&#8217;s all-star game.
It&#8217;s not his fourth time in the all-star game, but it&#8217;s his fourth time captaining the division.

One of the league&#8217;s top players, McDavid has continued his dominance this season scoring 61 points in 39 games. He&#8217;s operating a record-setting clip for himself this year and is on pace for 128 points — a number that would top his previous best of 116 points.
Alongside McDavid as captains are: Boston Bruins RW David Pastranak representing the Atlantic Divison, Colorado Avalanche C Nathan MacKinnon representing the Central Division, and Washington Captials LW Alexander Ovechkin representing the Metropolitan Division.
All the captains were voted on by the vans in a vote that ran between Nov. 30 and Dec. 20. The remaining players will be determined by the NHL&#8217;s Hockey Operations Department, and I&#8217;m sure we&#8217;ll see Leon Draisaitl accompanying Draisaitl to the game.
This year&#8217;s all-star weekend will take place on Jan. 24-25 in St. Louis. Much like last year, the all-star festivities will see a skills competition on Friday the 24th, followed by a three-game, 3-on-3 tournament on Saturday.
