It’s not that we need the Oilers to win every game. We’d like them to be competitive when they’re playing the Flames, especially if the Flames are last in the league.

But not last night.
Not this team.

It looked like the Oilers needed more… of everything. Extra forwards, more defencemen and eleven more goalies in net. It’s a damn disgrace that the Oil can’t hold their own, or muster much of an effort against the last-place team in the league.

Especially when that team is the Flames.

Especially with the season very much in question this early into the year.
