As Edmonton was completing a line change, Darnell Nurse sprung a fast forward to Draisaitl who was along the boards. He opted to quickly chip it off the backhand to Evander Kane who was bursting with speed down the lane. Kane got up to behind the Kings net when sent a back door pass back to Draisaitl who proceeded to bury the puck from the top of the circle.

With how much the Oilers have dominated the Kings in the postseason over these last few years, it’s not hard to suggest that Draisaitl could perhaps break more playoff records before this series is over. Heck, he probably broke another record last night and we didn’t even know about it.
Regardless of how many more times he puts his stamp on the history books, Draisaitl continues to prove he is built for the playoffs and has no trouble elevating his game when the stakes are high.
