OILERS NAME TODD MCLELLAN HEAD COACH

May 19, 2015, 16:04 EDTUpdated:
The worst kept secret in the NHL over the past couple weeks has come to fruition as the Edmonton Oilers have named Todd McLellan as the 13th Head Coach in franchise history.
Prior to joining the Oilers, McLellan spent the last 7 years as the head coach of the San Jose Sharks. He left San Jose with a record of 311-163-33-9 and a winning percentage of .637. McLellan will be the most experienced head coach the Oilers have had in recent memory, and will bring some much needed expertise along with him.
