Oilers trade Erik Cole for Patrick O’Sullivan Ales Kotalik

I got really excited when I saw the words “four-way,” but then I realized it was followed by the word “trade.” After that, I was only sort of excited.
I was mostly following the action on Twitter because ther’s no functional TV here at work, and I didn’t want the boss to see TSN.ca or the Score open on my browser all day. Still here are the relevant details on the trade (from TSN.ca):
The Edmonton Oilers got busy late in the proceedings on NHL trade deadline day as they have acquired forward Patrick O’Sullivan in a pair of deals involving four teams. […] The Oilers were not done there as they sent a second round draft pick to the Buffalo Sabres for forward Ales Kotalik.
And here’s a gem for you. Lynda Steele from Global Edmonton posted this on Twitter. Dean Millard when he found out about the trade:

So, Wanye’s pissed about this trade, and it seems like a bunch of others are pretty ok with it. Is this good for the Oil? Does this improve our playoff hopes? Have no effect at all? Tell me what you think in the comments…
