The Bets of the Day is brought to you by NHL lines site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our first bet of the day will be taking Sam Reinhart to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -125.
Reinhart comes into tonight’s game having taken 87 shots in 30 games averaging 2.9 per game. He got elevated to the Panthers’ top line on Tuesday against Columbus and looked great scoring a goal and three points while adding four shots.
He’s hit this prop in three of his last five games and in 17/30 on the season. The Panthers take on the Pittsburgh Penguins, who are allowing 32.43 shots against in all situations in their last five games, the 10th-worst rate in the league.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Kyle Connor to take over 3.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -105.
Connor leads the Jets in shots with 96 in 28, an average of 3.42 per game. He comes into this game hitting this prop in just two of his last five games and in 12/28 on the year, but I like the matchup for him.
The Jets take on a Nashville Predators team who have struggled defensively as of late allowing 34.92 shots against per hour in their last five games, the third worst rate in the league.
Record: 64-43 (+19.21u)
