It has been two days since the Edmonton Oilers got humbled, falling 8-1 to the Vancouver Canucks. Tomorrow night, Connor McDavid and his squad get the opportunity to redeem themselves against those same Canucks down at Rogers Place.
To help give us an in-arena perspective on what happened on Wednesday night, David Quadrelli from Canucks Army will join Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin at 12:15. With him, they will review the other side of this matchup, with David giving us some insight into who the Canucks are this season. Along with that, the three of them will look at Saturday’s matchup and discuss how this battle will fall.
Heading into Saturday night, should the Edmonton Oilers make any changes? Should Jack Campbell or Stuart Skinner start? If Mattias Ekholm isn’t healthy, should the blueline stay the same? Finally, should Jay Woodcroft mix up the forward lines after only one game? Tyler and Liam will answer all those questions on today’s show live at noon.
Towards the end of the show, the gang will get into some betting talk courtesy of our friends of Betway. Friday night isn’t a busy one in the NHL, but Saturday night is loaded with all 32 teams in action. Which games should you be watching? Tyler and Liam will give out their game of the weekend along with where you should be putting your money.
