Oilersnation Everyday: The PK Killer
Nov 8, 2022, 14:49 EST
The Edmonton Oilers dropped their third game in a row last night, and their first on the road this season. A 5-4 decision versus the Washington Capitals now leaves the Oilers with a 7-6-0 record to begin the season. The team has struggled to find any consistency of late and the penalty kill has certainly played a massive role in that.
Tonight, the Oilers look to bounce back against the Tampa Bay Lightning, who have been to the last three Stanley Cup Finals. What do they do to have success tonight in Tampa Bay? The obvious answer is to be better on the penalty kill and stay out of the box.
Like every Oilers gameday, Jay Downton joined us for the Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre-Game Show. In his appearance, Jay helped us recap last night’s loss to the Washington Capitals and looked ahead to what is to come tonight versus the Lightning.
You can expect all of that and more on Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk.
Viewers can catch Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin on Oilersnation Everyday at noon mountain on The Nation Network YouTube page. You can also view the show on Twitter and Facebook. After the show has streamed live, you can find it on all your podcast providers.
