Last night, the Edmonton Oilers came out and did exactly what they were supposed to do. They dominated the Arizona Coyotes, who were finishing a 14-game road trip, and had 12 different players collect points in an 8-2 victory. The two points mean the Oilers have now won five of their last seven games. Are they finally taking a turn for the better?
One notable performer was Klim Kostin, who is quickly becoming a fan favourite since being acquired from St Louis in exchange for Dmitri Samorukov. Kostin finished the night with two points and a scrap against former Oiler and NHL scrap veteran, Zack Kassian.
Before the action began on the ice, a story dropped yesterday about some comments that Jesse Puljujarvi to a journalist from Finland. The core of the story was that Puljujarvi is struggling and how he does not have the answer to break out of his slump. We will discuss the comments today on Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk.
