The Edmonton Oilers quest for there sixth Stanley Cup came to an end last night. With goals from Carter Verhaeghe and Sam Reinhart, the Florida Panthers defeated the Oilers 2-1 in Game 7 to win their first Stanley Cup. Mattias Janmark scored the Oilers lone goal but it wasn’t enough.
Liam Horrobin will go live today for Oilersnation Everyday to break down what happened in Game 7. He’ll go live on the Oilersnation YouTube channel along with all the other Oilersnation social media channels. Want your thoughts on the show? Leave your questions, comments and concerns in the Charm Diamond Centres YouTube live chat throughout the program. The guys strongly encourage you to interact with them during the duration of the show.
While the feeling around the city sucks right now, Liam will try to keep things positive. He’ll look back at the run as a whole and pick out the positive moments. Leave your moments in the chat too and Liam will get to them during the segment.
Cameron Lewis and Zach Laing will also join Liam on the show. They’ll discuss the Stanley Cup Final; however, they’ll dive into some off-season talk too. They’ll discuss the Oilers buyout options, the future of Ken Holland and who they should and shouldn’t bring back next season.
