The NHL season is finally underway, and that means the boys have plenty to talk about on the brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio. On today’s show, we’re talkin’ about Wednesday’s game against the Canucks, Connor McDavid hitting 700 points, previewed tomorrow’s BOA, and a whole lot more.
To kick off this week’s podcast, we got this week’s show we got started with a look at Wednesday’s season opener and what was our biggest takeaway from the evening. Whether it was the slow start, McDavid’s hat trick, or Jack Campbell keeping the boys in the fight, there was a lot to talk about on night one. We also talked about Dylan Holloway’s debut and whether or not we should be concerned with how he stumbled a touch in game one. For all of us, however, having Holloway run a less than a perfect start is not something we should care about. Getting back to night one, we also looked at Connor McDavid hitting the 700-point plateau in only his 488th game. Changing gears, we spent a few minutes talking about tomorrow’s Battle of Alberta and what to expect from this newly constructed rival.
