The Oilers plain and simple came out flat in Game One. Losing the game 3-0 in front of a home crowd that was mysteriously full of green jerseys. All that is put aside now as Edmonton needs to head down to Big D with a 1-1 series score. Today will have a new start time to try and give everyone a chance to tune in, young and old. Game Two will begin right here at 2:30pm MT.
About 15 minutes prior to game time, the stream will be live here:
The Jerseys:
You asked and so we are going to leave our nightly jersey match up, to you fans on our social media and so stay tuned to that.
Here are today’s choices:
The Lineups:
You gave me the honour (and the curse haha) of setting the lineups for the boys on a nightly basis, and so I will. Tonight’s lineups:
I don’t think there is a need to panic. I am going to switch out @Mikko Koskinen today for @Mike Smith but Mikko just had some rotten EA luck last night. I may just go back to him for Game Three even after a win? @Joakim Nygard is in for JJ.
The Forwards:
Ennis – McDavid – Kassian
RNH – NeonLeon – Yam
AA – Sheahan – Archibald
Neal – Haas – Nygard

Speaking of Nation Happy Hour, the rest of the series schedule.

The Other Series:
I have taken some time in the past to write a big article wrapping all the other series.
Now with only two series going on, and then with only one more remaining… I figured I will just include recaps here.

The Wrap:
The weirdness of the lower seeds winning both games continues. The hero is @Anders Lee with a monster two goals and an assist performance. Holtby found himself on the bench before the game was 25 minutes old. Rough starts for both home teams in these WCF and ECF games. We will see how they both bounce back.

Now, does anyone have any score predictions for today’s game?
