The first two games back from the all-star game were not kind to the Edmonton Oilers, and the result was a coaching change to try and save the season. While many of us believe the move was necessary, the task at hand for the new staff now becomes how they can turn things around. What does that mean for us bettors? The opportunity for a new coach bump. We be bettin’, fam!

LAST GAME

Chicago is a bad hockey team and the fact that the Oilers lost to them is infinitely annoying, especially when you consider that I also lost a bunch of money on the game because I bet with my heart. Do I regret that decision? Never, but it still hurt anyway, ya know?
Player Prop:
Zach Hyman anytime assist at +158
Easy Money:
Over 1.5 goals in the first period for -145 ✅
Risky Business:
Evander Kane over 1.5 points at +185
Can’t Miss Parlay:
Seattle over Arizona on the ML, Edmonton over Chicago on the ML for +123

TONIGHT…

If there’s one thing I know about hockey it’s that teams always come out firing the first game after a new coach hits the bench, and that’s exactly what I’m expecting tonight against the Islanders. The boys will want to make a good first impression on the new bosses, and I’m thinking that means the struggling Isles are in a world of trouble. Dare to dream?
Player Prop:
Leon Draisaitl over 1.5 points at -105
Easy Money:
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins over 2.5 shots at -105
Risky Business:
Kailer Yamamoto to score at +310
Can’t Miss Parlay:
Edmonton over NYI on ML, Tampa over Arizona on ML, and Anaheim over Seattle on ML for +275
And there you have it. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I threw one unit down on each bet btw — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at for tonight’s game.
