Risky Business is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
After what feels like an eternity, the Edmonton Oilers are back in action tonight against the Detroit Red Wings and I could not be more excited about watching hockey again. Needless to say, I’m excited. That said, I’m also nervous about how rusty the boys will be after a week spent drinking in the sun. Now, that said, I also understand that both teams will be in the same boat so I’m hopeful that it will be our boys that are able to get themselves going first. If they do, there is no reason the Oilers should lose to the Red Wings regardless of the fact that they’re 5-4-1 in their last 10 games.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Red Wings:
Player Prop:
Zach Hyman over 3.5 total shots at +115. My $5 bet would return $10.75.
Easy Money:
Over 1.5 total power play goals at +110. My $5 bet would return $10.50.
Risky Business:
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to score 1+ goal and 1+ assist at +350. My $5 bet would return $22.50.
Can’t Miss Parlay:
Edmonton over Detroit on the money line and Tampa Bay over San Jose on the money line at 2.32. My $5 bet would return $11.60.
