After months of waiting, it’s finally time for the season opener and that means it’s time to jump back into my love of betting on the boys, and this time, I’m bringing you with me for the ride.

Over the past couple of years, your boy Baggedmilk has gotten into the world of sports betting and it’s been a neat surprise to see how many of you are into tossing a few shekels on the game as well. Pretty self-explanatory. Today’s player prop that I’ve locked in is Leon Draisaitl over 1.5 points at +110.

Easy money is the bet that I think is an absolute lock regardless of what happens. It’s the one where you already consider the winnings to be in your pocket, and for me, here on opening night, that bet is over 1.5 goals in the first period at -160.

Risky Business is the bet I’m putting down that’s got great odds but maybe won’t be the most likely thing to happen. Put another way, I bet on Patrick Russell scoring a goal a few times last season and I would have filed that under the Risky Business tab. Today, I’m looking at Tyson Barrie to score at +450.
