Today, I’m pumped to announce the third annual Oilersnation Open presented by Wilhauk Beef Jerky and the Canadian Brewhouse which will be held at Cougar Creek Golf Resort on August 29th in support of <a href="https://www.jasongregor.com/the-gregor-foundation/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">the Jason Gregor Foundation</a>, and that you’re all invited to join us.

After having such a blast over the past two years, we absolutely knew that we were going to organize another golf tourney for the summer and, after a few months of planning, I&#8217;m psyched to finally be able to launch this baby. Basically, I&#8217;m telling you that you&#8217;ve got 64 days to prepare your body and clubs for what will surely be another wonderful day out on the links out at Cougar Creek Golf Resort. If you&#8217;ve played in our tournament before, you already know what an intense day it can be and if you haven&#8217;t been before, then this year&#8217;s tournament is the perfect time to remedy that. For our third swing at the tournament (pun intended), our goal is to ramp everything up, including the prizing and giveaways so you&#8217;ll definitely want to be a part of it.
If you’ve made it this far in the article I can already tell that you’re interested. The problem? There is no problem, but I do want to mention that space is limited and that means that waiting around to submit your team will likely mean that you miss out. If you’re a procrastinator like I am then I’d strongly encourage you to pretend that the tournament is actually happening tomorrow so that you can muster up the motivation needed to round up your buddies and get yourself to an Internet machine and <a href="https://nationgear.ca/products/2019-oilersnation-open-1?variant=21841059676249" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">book your spot</a>.

After you wrap up your round, a banquet will be held in the clubhouse to make sure you’re fuelled up for the after party. Not only that, we will have a ton of prizes and giveaways all day long including Oilersnation swag bags for all participants. Transportation will also be provided from the Canadian Brewhouse (Lewis Estates). The bus will take the golfers to and from the golf course.
As always, a portion of all proceeds from your ticket purchase will be donated directly to a local charity. This time we&#8217;ve partnered up with the Gregor Foundation to make sure that our kids are at their most handsome. What is the Gregor Foundation?

<blockquote><a href="http://www.jasongregor.com/the-gregor-foundation/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">The Gregor Foundation</a> was started in 2014 by Jason and Traci Gregor after seeing a need to help. The Foundation provides a new suit for graduation complete with shirt, tie, shoes and socks to less fortunate high school students in Edmonton and area. We work closely with high school counsellors who identify and qualify the students who are in need.
High school can be a challenging time for any young person, but for those students whose families are experiencing severe financial difficulties, simply getting the basic necessities to enable them to attend their own graduation can be very difficult, if not impossible. High school students’ needs often go unnoticed in the community as these students try to blend in and are very private regarding their financial situation. These young men are often forgotten when it comes to receiving much-needed assistance.
“Gregor’s Grads” was formed to fill this gap and provide a helping hand for these deserving students. We believe that by providing financially-challenged students with a sense of normalcy and enabling them to participate in graduation will foster pride, self-esteem and allow them to move forward to the next phase in their lives with wonderful memories and a new suit they can call their own.
Mr. Derks has been a major partner since day one. Their clothing experts fit and tailor all the suits so the boys look great. Mr. Derks uses their connections in the clothing industry so we can fit each grad with their new ensemble for an average of $250.00.</blockquote>
