The Day After Video 1.0: Recapping the Edmonton Oilers 5-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks

By Zach Laing

Edmonton Oilers 5.
Vancouver Canucks 3.
The Oilers overcame a shaky start in their first game of the 2020-23 season to mount a five-goal comeback. It started with Leon Drasiaitl scoring his first of the year on the powerplay, then Connor McDavid hitting another level scoring a hat trick.
Oh, and a beautiful short-handed goal from Darnell Nurse helped along the way.
This season, you’ll be seeing these articles The Day After every game. Woz will be in the hosting chair, while myself, Cam Lewis and others rotate through as guests breaking down the previous night’s battle.
