Hockey fans are ravenous. Everybody knows that.
Many out there are looking for as much information as they can find, like most of your reading this article. And when it comes to the intricacies of the game, few know them better than PuckPedia’s Hart Levine.
He’s built a nearly invaluable litany of resources for hockey fans since launching the website in 2018, becoming a go-to source for hockey fans, media members, agents, and professionals around the spot looking for the best information possible. Whether that’s player contracts, signing information, CBA and salary cap information, waivers, signing rights, draft pick movement, or roster construction, PuckPedia has you covered.
It’s why I’m excited to share that The Nation Network is partnering with PuckPedia. The new partnership kicks off today, weeks before the NHL draft and free agency opening up, with the goal of broadening editorial coverage around key dates like these.
“PuckPedia has built tremendous trust within the hockey world by delivering accurate, detailed, and easy-to-understand salary cap and contract information,” Jay Downton, Co-founder and CEO of TNN said in a statement. “Bringing that expertise into The Nation Network ecosystem helps us create even more value for hockey fans by combining premium reporting, analysis, and storytelling with best-in-class data and roster-management tools.”
The new partnership won’t only help lift PuckPedia, but The Nation Network’s coverage, too. Across Oilersnation, our other team sites including FlamesNation, CanucksArmy and The Leafs Nation, or our flagship site, Daily Faceoff, you’ll be seeing a lot more of the tremendous work PuckPedia does.
“We’ve long admired The Nation Network and the passionate hockey communities they’ve built across Canada,” said Levine, the founder of PuckPedia in a statement. “This partnership allows us to bring PuckPedia’s trusted salary cap, contract, and roster-management tools to an even broader audience through some of the most engaged hockey media brands in the industry. By combining our data and expertise with TNN’s strength in content and storytelling, we’ll create new ways for fans to better understand the business of hockey and the decisions that shape their favourite teams.”
In the coming weeks and months, integration of PuckPedia’s tools and resources will come across The Nation Network’s news, editorial and audio/video content, as the TNN looks to bring you a more connected experience for trusted reporting, analysis and insights.
