Welcome back to another edition of Throwback Thursday! 

Today in 2016, Connor McDavid recorded his first five-point night in the NHL.
The Oilers secured a 5-2 victory over the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs in which McDavid scored two goals and three assists. McDavid opened the scoring 3:29 into the game, then assisted on two Jordan Eberle goals in the second period.
McDavid potted his second goal of the game at the 13:55 mark of the third frame, and with the Leafs net empty, found Eberle to let the veteran get his first NHL hat trick.
The night can&#8217;t be overshadowed by the fact that it was the first time McDavid played in Toronto as an NHL player. Not a bad way to debut in your hometown.
