Watch JJ Khaira beat up Colin Miller

Feb 16, 2018, 08:00 ESTUpdated: Feb 16, 2018, 12:21 EST
The Oilers suffered from the Vegas Flu yesterday in their bout against the Golden Knights last night. They looked limp, slow, and got completely overmatched by an expansion team. To be fair, the Golden Knights have made a lot of teams look really bad this year, so the Oilers aren’t standing alone there.
Thankfully, though, there was something redeeming about the three hours you invested in last night’s game. That’s JJ Khaira. He’s been one of very few bright spots on this team this year and he was a bright spot last night with this pounding of Golden Knights defender Colin Miller.
Miller drilled Khaira with a hit behind the net and JJ wasn’t having any of it. He dropped the gloves and immediately landed a couple of rights on his opponent. If only everyone on the team could play with this energy.
