What’s going on, Citizens!? I haven’t written about a party in a while, but I’m jumping on the site to give you some details about an event that you’ll want to hear about. We’re throwing a watch party with the boys from the What Chaos! podcast in a joint event we’re calling What Chaos in the Nation. And based on the details, this is gearing up to be a solid night for Edmonton hockey fans. It’s all going down at Greta downtown, and I’ve got the details to get you in the loop and maybe out the door to join us.
Mark your calendar for Thursday, March 27th. The Oilersnation crew is linking up with DJ Bean and Pete Blackburn from What Chaos! for a one-of-a-kind event that our friends at Fountain Tire are helping to make happen. Doors swing open at 6:00 pm, and it’s first come, first served—so if you’re rolling in with a crew, maybe get there a bit early to score a good table. With Greta being right downtown and everyone at Nation HQ excited to be there, we’re turning it into the spot to be in the city.
So what’s happening? I’m glad you asked. Your ticket will get you entry for the What Chaos! x Pregaming with Bordzy live show to kick things off before Edmonton takes on Seattle, and once the game’s done, we’re keeping it going with a crossover edition of After Dark x What Chaos! Not only did we want to do another watch party with everyone, but we also wanted to put together an event that keeps the party going long into the night. Looking for another hook to join us? I’ve gotchoo. Everyone who buys a ticket for the event gets a shot at winning two tickets to the B.O.A on March 29th. The boys will pull five fans from the audience/bar for a trivia contest, and the last one standing gets the seats. Fifteen bucks for a night out, plus a chance at two BOA tickets? That’s a good time you know you want to be part of. You’ve gotta be 18+ to grab a ticket, and parking’s no hassle—it’s free under the building.
