The Edmonton Oilers will once again be without Zach Hyman when they hit the ice Tuesday night against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Hyman has been out of the Oilers lineup since an Oct. 19th game against the Ottawa Senators, after leaving that game in the second intermission.
No Zach Hyman tonight vs. VGK, per Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch.

There’s some hope that he could return to the lineup soon, however, as Hyman participated during a full-team practice on Monday, as well as the optional morning skate on Tuesday. The winger’s injury has been undisclosed, but Oilersnation’s Jason Gregor said Hyman could return to the lineup Thursday.
Hyman’s struggled this season, scoring just three goals and eight points in the 20 games he had played. Despite getting his usual plethora of scoring chances and high-danger looks, he hasn’t found a way to turn them into consistent offence.
Kasperi Kapanen will remain on the top line alongside Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, while the rest of the Oilers lineup will remain unchanged. Kapanen was claimed on waivers on Nov. 19th, and has now drawn in for four games, scoring a goal and an assist while averaging 12:46 in ice-time per night.
Vasily Podkolzin, meanwhile, sticks with Leon Draisaitl and Connor Brown on the third line. Offence has come Podkolzin’s way, riding a three-game goal-scoring streak, helping the Oilers win games against the New York Rangers, Utah Hockey Club and Colorado Avalanche.
The Golden Knights remain banged up as well, with Mark Stone on the injured reserve and Victor Olofsson out of the lineup.
