This week’s prospect update is again a lighter one with the camps wrapping up, and taxi squads being suss’d out. Both Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway are done at the world juniors. Each shining in their own way, if not showing up on any all-star teams this time around.
The poster boy for this week, Matej Blumel (Pronounced “Mach-ee Blee-mul”, according to Elite Prospects) had himself a night last Tuesday putting up a hat trick in a losing effort (5-4 in a SO) and got another the game after. In between the pipes, Konovalov and Rodrigue both got some wins with Rodrigue getting some run support to boot.
If you haven’t had a chance to read all of Jason Gregor’s camp breakdowns, highly recommend:

Side note for those of you who are reading the update for the first time.
While it’s a prospect update, not all players are specifically prospects in the traditional sense of the word. Some are merely players of which we own the rights to, and some are older players who I think people would like to follow along with.
Updates are current as to the time of publish (if they’re playing in a game when it’s published, I won’t include that)
