Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.
Kicking off this week’s appearance, we jumped in with a look at the disaster that took place last night in Minnesota as the Oilers got absolutely tuned up by a Minnesota Wild team that has had their number all season long. From start to finish, that game was as rough as it’s been for the Oilers over the last couple of months, and they’ll need to figure out how to rebound quickly because now is not the time to start losing points. We also talked about the @Evander Kane vs @Ryan Hartman situation that wasn’t allowed to kick off during the game as both guys clearly looked like they wanted to fight but the linesman did not seem to agree. Why weren’t they allowed to go? Frankly, a fight may have been the only salvageable thing from that game. From there, we moved on to the Nation Vacation that’s happening in Nashville right now and how it’s devastating that I wasn’t able to be down there even though my staying home may actually help and you’ll hear why. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s segment with a quick look at the standings as the Oilers got absolutely no help last night as the Kings and Golden Knights both picked up points.
