THIS IS NOT A DRILL. I REPEAT. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
For the first time since all the way back on Dec. 23 against the Minnesota Wild, Milan Lucic has scored a goal. The slump is over!
You can see him mouth “finally.”
I can’t imagine how nice that must have felt for Lucic to finally bury one. After going 29 games without scoring a goal, the $6 million man finally got the monkey off of his back with a slap shop snipe past Antti Raanta.
It’s been a rough season for Lucic and the Oilers in general, so let’s hope Lucic can put this drought behind him and finish the season on a positive note.
