Baggedmilk on #theLOCKERROOM: Bring on the silly season!

Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.

To kick off this week’s segment, we got started with a look at the Stanley Cup Finals and how I really don’t care about what’s going on between Florida and Vegas. Even though I know the hockey has been good — at least, that’s what people are telling me — I still can’t bring myself to watch anything beyond the highlights. Changing gears, we looked at some of the rumours that are starting to trickle in about what the Oilers might do with the obvious problem being that everything has been pure nonsense so far. As much as I like the idea of landing Carter Hart and having a hometown duo as our goaltending tandem, the reality is that making a trade like that work seems incredibly far fetched given where the Oilers are at with Campbell and the salary cap. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s segment with a look at the Cruz charity auction the boys have kicking off tomorrow to not only golf with the group but also to land a signed Ryan Nugent-Hopkins jersey. Naturally, when I heard there was a Nuge jersey as part of the auction, your boy jumped in with the opening bid of $200 to get the ball rolling.
